Daily Rituals for Couples
A little moment for two
Daily Rituals is an app for couples who want to stay close without it becoming another job. It gives you one small thing to do together each day. Most take two to ten minutes. Then you put the phone down.
Open TodayWhat a ritual actually is
It is smaller than it sounds. A hug held a few seconds longer than usual. One question asked properly, with the answer waited for. A hand on a back in the kitchen. A slower hello at the door.
Nothing here needs a free evening, a good mood, or both of you at your best. That is the whole design. A practice you can only keep on good days is not a practice.
Who it is for
Couples who still like each other but have drifted into being polite. You are not fighting. You are busy, tired, and living slightly parallel lives, and you keep meaning to do something about it.
It is not built for couples in real trouble. If there is fear, control, betrayal or conflict that does not feel safe, a relationship app is the wrong tool and a professional is the right one. We say that on the pages where it matters too.
Say how you are without a conversation
Some evenings you do not have the words, or the energy to explain. Personal Weather lets you show it instead. You pick your sky — sunny, warm, foggy, stormy — and your partner sees it beside theirs.
It sounds small. In practice it is the part people keep. It replaces "what's wrong?" with something you can answer in a second, on a night when answering properly feels like too much.
It works even when only one of you opens it
Most couples apps quietly assume both people are equally keen. That is usually not true, and it is why they get deleted.
So there are two ways in. Together: you share how you are arriving, and the app finds something for the two of you. On your own: you learn a small practice by yourself and bring it to them later, with no announcement and no app required on their side.
What is free and what is not
The free side is meant to be genuinely useful, not a trailer. You get a rotating set of daily rituals, the first few practices to learn alone, Personal Weather, and the daily check-in — free, with no time limit.
Premium opens the rest of the library, which runs to more than five hundred rituals, along with the deeper guided material and your shared space. One subscription covers both partners; nobody pays twice. The App Store shows the price before you buy.
Common questions
Is Daily Rituals for Couples free?
There is a free tier with no time limit: a rotating set of daily rituals, the first practices to learn on your own, Personal Weather and the daily check-in. Premium unlocks the full library and the shared couple space. The App Store shows the price before you buy.
Does my partner need to have the app too?
No. You can use it alone, and plenty of people do at first — learning something small and bringing it to their partner later without mentioning an app. If you do link accounts, one subscription covers you both.
How long does a daily ritual take?
Two to ten minutes. Most are closer to two. They are built to be done on a tired weeknight rather than saved for a good evening, because that is when closeness is usually lost.
Is this couples therapy?
No. It is not therapy, counselling or medical care, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. It helps with drift, tiredness and bad timing in a relationship that is basically kind. Fear, control, betrayal, addiction or unsafe conflict need a professional instead.
What if my partner is not interested?
Start on your own. One person changing how they arrive at the door, or how they open a hard subject, often changes the pattern on its own — and it avoids turning the relationship into a project your partner did not sign up for.
Does one subscription cover both partners?
Yes. When two accounts are linked into one couple space, a single subscription covers both of you. Your partner is never asked to pay separately.
